About the Imagi Playset
Where did the idea for the Imagi Playset come from?
My two year old daughter Winnie and I used to play by popping up vinyl record sleeves and books alongside each other to create little towns. Winnie would go and get her teddies and put them in the spaces, bring them tea and put them to sleep.
I witnessed her beginning to use her imagination to play. And the idea was born. Much like the rugs many children have in their bedrooms, with a 2d town on (my brother and I used to spend ages pushing toy cars around on these rugs), these Playsets enable children to create a 3D town of their own, to give them a scene within which to build stories and narratives.

As a father, I created Imagi Playsets because I wanted to encourage the kind of imaginative, creative play that I believe childhood should be filled with.
